School closing for inclement weather:

In the past, we have linked various parts of our system to other entities in how the call about school closing or delay was made. That proved problematic for us and therefore, we will no longer be following that course of action. We will continue to consult with Appleton Area School District, other parochial entities in the Appleton area and our transportation provider, but we will be making the call as a system. When the call is made, it will be communicated through the following networks:

o Woodward Communications - including radio stations WHBY 1150, WSCO 1570, WAPL 105.7, WKSZ 95.9, WZOR 94.7, and WECB 104.3
o WBAY TV 2
o WFRV CBS 5
o WLUK FOX 11
o NBC 26

When the call is made, it will be communicated as ACES Xavier Educational System and will include all campuses and all grades from preschool through grade 12. It will include St. Thomas More Campus, St. Pius X Campus, Catholic Central Campus, St. Bernadette Campus, St. Joseph Middle School and Xavier High School.
